Ingredients
  

  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Tarragon or oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric
  • ½ teaspoon Curry powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger Optional
  • 2-3 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts or bone-in chicken
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions
 

  • In a small mixing bowl, combine the garlic powder, tarragon/oregano, turmeric, curry powder, and ground ginger (if using).
  • Place the chicken on a large tray or plate. Pat dry with a paper towel to remove any excess moisture.
  • Season the chicken with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Generously season the chicken with the blended seasoning until coated on all sides.
  • Cover the plate with saran wrap. Let it rest for at least 30 minutes or up to one hour at room temperature.
  • When ready, grill the chicken on both sides until it reaches 165℉, or bake in the oven at 350℉ for 45 minutes-1 hour or until the juices are clear and the temperature reaches 165℉.

Notes

This recipe is also freezer-friendly! Simply season the chicken and place in a freezer bag. You can store in the freezer for up to 6 months. The seasoning can also be made in advance and stored in a tightly sealed container for up to 6 months in the pantry.
