  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, shredded
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)

Instructions
 

  • Rinse the Brussels sprouts thoroughly. Remove any damaged outer leaves and trim the stems. Shred them using a food processor or a sharp knife.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat until shimmering.
  • Add the minced garlic to the pan and sauté for about 30 seconds, or until fragrant. Be careful not to burn it!
  • Stir in the shredded Brussels sprouts, salt, and black pepper. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently, until they start to become tender and crispy.
  • Once the Brussels sprouts are cooked to your liking, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over them. Stir to combine and allow it to melt slightly.
  • If desired, drizzle lemon juice over the sautéed sprouts for added brightness and flavor.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
