Dough and Fillings

  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup pepperoni slices or your choice of toppings
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 egg for egg wash
  • Marinara sauce for dipping, optional

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Open the can of pizza dough and unroll it onto a clean surface. Cut it into squares, about 3 inches each.
  • In the center of each dough square, place a tablespoon of mozzarella cheese, a few pepperoni slices, and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning.
  • Fold the corners of the dough over the filling, pinching to seal tightly. Ensure there are no openings for the cheese to escape.
  • Place the sealed bombs seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with olive oil for a golden finish.
  • Beat the egg in a small bowl. Brush this egg wash over the tops of the pizza bombs.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed up.
  • Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving to avoid burning your mouth on the hot cheese.
  • If desired, serve with a side of marinara sauce for dipping.
