Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • 1 scoop protein powder vanilla or unflavored work best
  • ¾ cup frozen mango
  • ½ inch fresh ginger root
  • ½ teaspoon ground turmeric
  • Coconut flakes, chia seeds, or granola for topping (if desired)

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients in a blender.
  • Blend until completely smooth, about 30 seconds. Add a splash more milk to keep things moving if it's too thick. Pour into your favorite glass and serve immediately, with toppings if desired.

Notes

If the mixture is too thick and having a hard time blending, add another splash of liquid. You can make this smoothie ahead and store it in your fridge sealed in an airtight container until the next day.
