Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, brown the sausage until fully cooked, about 8-10 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, cream cheese, milk, and seasonings until smooth. Fold in the cooked sausage and hashbrowns.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch casserole dish and spread evenly.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  • Bake for 45 minutes, or until the center is set and top is golden brown.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
  • Top with green onions just before serving if desired.
